Very clean and cozy hotel. One block from the Seaside prommenade. We booked the king size with jacuzzi and was still cheaper than the hotels on the beach. The walk to the beach passed restaurants, shops and bars so was perfect for us. The room was very clean with an excellent view of the river running through town. The beds were comfortable, tv was nice and even had small patio overlooking the river. Plus, the parking was free. We kept our car parked all week except for the short drive to Cannon Beach. Was pleasantly surprised. The location is great, the room was excellent. We were driving the coast on highway 101 and ended up in Seaside for an overnight stop. Room had a balcony overlooking a river as well as a fireplace. Short walk to the beach as well as the local shops and merchants. The employee at the front desk had a great attitude and was very helpful. Highly recommended. « less

I don't walk well, so happyness is a room on the 1st floor which I got. My wife and I travel a lot and this has to be the friendliest, most professional place we have ever stayed. One block in any direction were shops for my wife, excellent resturants with reasonaly priced food, the convention center, and the local Elks Lodge. In my opinion it just does't get any better. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel not once, but twice. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and make us comfortable. And when my car wouldn't start as we were leaving, the manager and a desk clerk even assisted me with getting me back on the road. It isn't often when you get this kind of personal service at a hotel. Also, the place was super clean, which I always notice. I can't stand it when a hotel room isn't perfectly clean. And...it was perfect. Clean, attractive rooms with updated furnishings and bathrooms; friendly and courteous staff, complimentary breakfast, hot cookies at the front desk and a roaring fire in the lobby--all for a reasonable price per night. A+++! « less
