We arrived for a conference, with a toddler, the pack and play was all set up in the room. During lunch time I needed a microwave (which is not in the room) was welcomed to use the one on the ground floor. We love the location, the room is gorgeous. Elliot and William have been lovely. My only wish is for a bathtub in the room..I should have asked. « less

I asked a simple question on TA some weeks ago re ease of travelling to the Hyatt Place at Secaucus from JFK. The fact that the airline my wife & I were travelling with flew into JFK was ignored by nearly all of those who responded & that was fine but the most scathing replies were over the fact that we had decided to stay here. Are we happy we ignored the majority of "replies" from those so called "experts"!!!!! A price for a room at least half of the asking price in Manhattan ( if you have money to burn & need to be near the "action " thats your choice), beautifully cleaned & well kept rooms, attentive & friendly staff & a breakfast ( included in the room price) which would satisfy most people. But the best part is the fact that you can be at the Corner of 42nd & 8th in Manhattan in approx 20 minutes!!! Costs $7.90 return on bus 320 which leaves from & drops off outside the hotel entrance. Costs $3.60 return if you are a senior. The bus runs almost all night at very regular intervals & in the mornings in particular about 15 mins apart. It is easy to use !!! Up until recently the vending machine took cash as well as credit card but now only takes the latter. Also at the Port Authority Bus Terminus ( where you arrive & depart from in Manhattan) you have the subway at your fingertips. There are quite a few eating establishments just over the road in the shopping complex near the hotel also.We are here at the moment in New Jersey & would NOT go elsewhere !! If you need help over & above the norm at this Hyatt ask for Elliot!! « less

We had 4 of our family stay in the room with 2 double beds and large lounge area for watching TV or relaxing and playing games. A sink and fridge and coffee machine in one area. Then a bathroom and another sink outside the bathroom. The front desk staff were very frindly and helpful in anything we wanted. We were there 6 days and they called us by our last name, that is great service. The staff for breakfast was accomodating and friendly and even made my Dad a vegetarian breakfast sandwich as he does not eat eggs either. The rooms were made up for us daily and there were no issues at all, the beds are comforatbale and smelt clean each day. The maintenance crew fixed our fan in the bathroom the day I advised it was broken. The bus round back comes every 10 minutes and takes you into Times Square in about 15-20 minutes, we loved the whole experience. Also we had free parking and WIFI along with the yummy breakfast. The fresh fruit and oatmeal was Dad's favourite, while I liked the fresh egg sanwiches and good Italian coffeee. We had a great time and will be back again in September to stay again for a concert in Brooklyn. « less

Thank you for taking your time to share feedback on our breakfast. We like to accommodate both health-conscious guests, and also our guests who prefer a richer breakfast. Our A.M. My 18yr old grandson and I stayed here from 5th to 7th of april 2013 and i thought it was a very nice hotel. The location is great in regards to getting to NYC only 10 min by train or bus when there is no traffic. We advise you to take the train. the shuttle from the hotel will take you to the train station. We took the bus but we were one hour and 15 minutes returning to New Jersey in traffic. The hotel is in a great spot for attending events at the Metlife centre and Izod. it is located in a good safe area with some shopping and a few restaurants in walking distance. This hotel is on the modern side as far as decor and we were given a spacious suite. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to us.The complimentary breakfast was fine and you could get a snack at all hours albeit at inflated prices. The only downfall to the Hyatt is that it is located far from the Prudential Center so if you plan to see a hockey game or something else there it will cost you at least 60 dollars by taxi one way,but what the heck we were there to enjoy . « less

My friends and I were going to Wrestlemania at nearby MetLife Stadium and attending WrestleCon at the Meadowlands Exposition Center. This hotel was booked based on my experiences with the Hyatt Place chain and its superior product. So, I went in expecting a lot and both mine and my friends expectations were exceeded immensely. From the assistant general manager, Jaime, working with us through monetary issues at check in, to the courteous staff (Charlotte, Bill, Mohammed, and many others whose names escape me) helping us with our every need. The location of the hotel is excellent for those wanting to venture into NYC without driving into the city due to the 320 bus that picks up in front of the hotel as well as being near restaurants and the aforementioned Meadowlands Exposition Center. It made the weekend that much easier to plan and enjoy. So, my heartfelt thanks go out to the staff of this property for making my WrestleMania experience an immensely enjoyable one! « less
