Not only did I not get my reserved room, but they also threw in what I consider to be excessive charge for my pets. This motel is not clean and the toilet did not work. After over 10 hours in the car, when I went to check in the receptionist was more concerned about getting another customer a room than assisting me with getting the room that I reserved and held. It has been several years since I have stayed at a Super 8 they use to be good rooms for a good price. After this experience I would rather go to any other motel. I have attempted to contact customer care. They put me on hold, then came back and said that someone would contact me and still nothing from them. Obviously this motel does not need customers. I would rather stay in my car and shower at the truck stop. « less

I only needed a clean bed and a bathroom. I can't say I got either. I checked in very late (2am) and only needed a few hours of sleep before hitting the road. Only 1 of 3 pillows even had a case on them, and it was stained grossly. I ended up using a sweater shirt for a pillow. There's a 24 hr drive thru window of a McDonald's right outside the thin window pane, so sleep was pointless. I gave up on trying at 6 and headed to the bathroom for the first time. It had not been cleaned. There was hair in the sink and the toilet (including the seat) was filthy. I stood on a towel in the shower because I know bleach had not been there.

This location is a scum pit. Absolutely the WORST hotel I have ever booked with to stay at anywhere in the U.S. & Europe. Rude service, dirty filthy rooms and building. I booked online after talking to the front desk clerk and after arriving, I refused to check in or stay for the night and stayed elsewhere, (Ramada Inn, 1/2 mile south of the Super 8), due to the conditions of the building and location and attitude of the front desk clerk. This would have been my second time doing business with Super 8 and I will never do business with Super 8 ever again anywhere at anytime. This location should be demolished and the hotel staff removed from having any interaction with the public until they have been properly trained in customer care skills. I was told that the place was clean and that I would be placed on the second floor in a clean non smoking room. Upon arrival, I was shown a third floor room that wreaked of stale cigarette smoke and was in disrepair in all aspects, including cleanliness. I refused to check in and found other accomodations. Upon arrival at the alternate hotel I was promptly informed that the Super 8 in question has a very bad local reputation and I can see why. Stay somewhere else at whatever the cost may be, it would be very well worth your while. « less
