We arrived at about midnight. The front desk concierge, Shirley, was very helpful. There was a problem with our check in though. The staff member before Shirley had checked the wrong person in to our room. They did not check ID or even the credit card on file for our reservations. We were a little ticked about this, but got it all taken care of. Mistakes happen, but at midnight we just wanted to sleep, not deal with this. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, crowded, but you got your basics. Great middle point in our trip, would probably stay here again. « less

Bad weather on I-68 meant I wouldn't make it to Cumberland, so was glad to find a chain hotel of any kind! Desk clerk was friendly, room was dark and tired but I had a great night's sleep (MOST important). Breakfast buffet was hot and fresh. Not anywhere I would seek out to stay again but not a bad night's stay. Any port in a storm!! « less

Easy to locate this hotel at night while driving the interstate. Automatic doors, luggage carts, and an elevator for the interior corridors made this hotel quite welcoming. Easy check in as well. Only double beds available for two beds in a room, makes it a tight sleep for four people. Plenty of pillows and comfortable beds. Can tell people smoke in hotel, but I took others' advice and had a room on the second floor so didn't smell any smoke in my room (and I'm quite sensitive). Had a hard time getting the room the right temperature but I think that was because we were there in the fall and the day was warm but the evening was cool! Did not check out the pool but an indoor one was available. « less

My girlfriend and I recently stopped here on our way home from Myrtle Beach for something else to do for a day and to check out deep creek. After driving 12.5 hours back home, we couldn't wait to get to the hotel. Upon entering, the clerk was very helpful and it took no time at all to check in (literally 3-5 minutes at max). We went ahead up to our room which was on the 3rd floor. It was a nice room, recently looked updated and was very relaxing. It had a mini fridge which was nice because we had a cooler full of some items we needed to keep cool. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet and quaint even though its located directly off the interestate. There was no signs of smoking in our room and was very clean. I would definitely return if I'm going back. « less
