Based on a review given by someone on this place about 2 years ago, I would have to conclude that either there are new owners, or that it was renovated. Everything was top-notch, especially for the $45/nite we pricelined it for. The staff was well-dressed and pleasant. Men apparently from the owning family maintained the breakfast area themselves (!), having slacks and a soft-collared shirt, one day with even a sport coat. It seemed clear that they wanted to project a professional appearance. Our room was big and well-appointed, even classy. All hotels/motels know when one uses a priceline bid to secure a room and I've noticed that some places deliver lesser service once they notice that. Not here! Twice staff went out of their way to accommodate us when we asked for something. The indoor pool was clean, but a bit chilly. The whirlpool jets were amazingly strong and the temp warm. In place of waffle makers, the breakfast area included a high-tech pancake maker that we've not seen anywhere else. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. « less

Your basic upgraded Holiday Inn: clean, good Internet, iffy TV channel selection. Everything worked; breakfast room very basic but you can fill up. Not a tourist destination, but if you need a room in this area you could probably fo a lot worse. « less

We were guests of this hotel during Thanksgiving weekend. We stayed a total of 3 nights. The front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Room was clean, although a bit small for 4 people, but that was minor. The only other complaint, if you want to call it that, was the the pool could have been a little warmer. The staff were proud of their work, always had a smile in their face, and were eager to make all guests as comfortable as possible. Great experience! We will consider this hotel in the future! « less
