Every Sunday (and other bonus times for special promotions), we post a 2 digit random number to our Facebook page. If your billing zip code ends in the last two digits of the number called, select any city and any dates for a booking that totals $500 (amount may vary for bonus giveaways) or less, including fees and taxes.
Your free rooms as announced on Facebook and Twitter, must be booked through www.HotelPlanner.com (not our apps; The apps have a similar separate contest on Wednesdays, see below). Click here to begin a hotel search.
To claim the free rooms, select the dates and hotel of your choice, and follow the book now button to the payment info screen. You must select a "Pay Now" rate type, this contest is not eligible for "Pay at Hotel" rates. Enter the full booking details, including your credit card information where the credit card billing zip code has the last two digits the same as the number announced. A message should pop up as soon as you finish typing in your billing zip code (see image below) to let you know if you are still eligible to win and no one has claimed yet. Only one winner is awarded per announcement, so only the first to claim will win the free rooms.
If we are able to authorize your credit card's billing zip code, you will receive a confirmation message verifying that you won the free rooms, and your credit card will not be charged. Changes to your free booking cannot be made.
If you are not the first one to redeem the prize, your card will not be charged, nor will your credit card information be stored and you will be notified that someone already claimed the free rooms before you. We always post the first name and city of the winner to our Facebook page as soon as the rooms are claimed.
Only one free stay per household is allowed every 365 days. Once someone from your household wins, you are not eligible to win again for another 365 days. Facebook is not a sponsor nor is involved in this promotion in any way. HotelPlanner reserves the right to change the terms of this giveaway at anytime.
