I've stayed at this hotel many times and have always been very happy with the service and attention I've received. This Courtyard is a step above most with an engaging bartender, comfortable lounge, and great breakfasts in the morning. Functional gym and pool are good. Very close to untold numbers of restaurants and shops, if you have time to fill you want be disappointed. « less

On a recent trip, we needed to be near the town of Castle Rock but also wanted to go see a Rockies game. This hotel was a good compromise, being a 5 minute walk from the light rail (E train) and a 10 minute drive from Castle Rock. The hotel is also a short drive, or within walking distance (via the train station bridge) from the Park Meadows Mall, a large shopping area.
The hotel is going through renovations though they were not noisy at all. We did not eat at the hotel.
My two minor gripes -- no safe in the hotel room, and the towels were a very thin material.
The hotel staff was very friendly. The rates were very good on the weekend. « less

I have traveled all over the world and this hotel probably takes the cake for the poorest customer service I have ever received. The hotel was mediocre at best, with the TV not working at all and a hissing noise from the refridgerator that was so distracting it was difficult to sleep. The internet service was so poor that I wasted hours of work because the connection kept dropping. They said they knew that and had tried to replace the routers. But the kicker was that when I talked to the front desk person BRYAN about this, he not only did NOT help me but ended up charging me an extra $250 for "finding a cigarette butt in my room and it smelling like smoke." I've never smoked in my life and how offensive is that to be lied to, (or if they did find a cigarette butt, how BAD is their housekeeping??) and then fraudently and almost criminally charge my credit card without my authorization? Stay away from this hotel, you'll be sorry if you dont. « less

We did a Friday - Monday trip at this hotel. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the distance from downtown. It was a about 20 minute drive to downtown. Not a huge issue as long as you have a rental car. Overall very good stay at this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone visiting this area. There is a very large mall and Ikea store right across the street. « less

The front desk lady was very rude when we were checking in. My boyfriend and I came to the door, and it was locked. We read all the signs expecting an explanation, and nothing. So we walked over to the Residence Inn in front, and explained to that front desk lady that nobody was there. She called our hotel and got ahold of the woman who was supposed to be at the desk, who could describe our vehicle, and we were sent back over to our hotel. When we arrived for the second time, the desk woman attempted to tell us that we never came to the front door. She said she had been standing at the counter the whole time and saw us drive around. How did you see our vehicle if you were standing at the counter the entire time if we never came to the right door? Are you serious? It was around midnight, and my boyfriend and I had driven all day from out of state and had just got back from a show at the Gothic and ALL we wanted to do was get to bed. My boyfriend and I discovered later when we were looking for the vending machines the hotel was supposed to have (there are none, btw) that she had been sitting in the dining area, reading. Awesome. She also told us our room was closer to the left side elevators, so we drove around to the side parking lot, only to discover that our room was literally next to the lobby, only on the second floor.
Besides that, staff was very friendly. Rooms were very nice and clean. The beds were actually comfortable. Only stayed one night so can't comment on the shower. There wasn't a fridge in our room, which was of little consequence to us. There was a couch and a balcony. It was quiet. Perfectly comfortable. We also made use of their pool (on the small side) and hot tub. The area was immaculate, although I think their was too much chlorine in the water. I didn't even get my face wet and my eyes were burning.
Location was okay. I wanted a hotel close to Broadway because that's where we were going to be most of the time. This hotel is actually a bit outside of the Englewood city limits, and it was about a 20 minute drive from the Gothic on the interstate.
I only paid $70 for the room on Hotwire, so I think I got a pretty good deal. « less

Thank you for taking the time to review us on tripadvisor! I am glad that you found your room to be clean, comfortable, and quiet. Every guest room does have a mini fridge, it is just tucked out of sight within the credenza. I will be sure to train my staff to mention this amentiy at every check in. I am so sorry that your check in experience was not pleasant. Guest satisfaction is always our top priority and I will be sure to follow up with all of my employees regarding being visible and courteous to guests at all times. I hope that you will stay with us again in the near future and that your experience will be even better. Michelle Davis, General Manager
