I called to inform the hotel that my flight was delayed and that I would not be checking into the hotel until after midnight so that they would not give my room away. Arrived at the hotel at 2:30 am and the clerk was refusing to check me into the room stating that my reservation was for the following day. I explained to him that today is that day. He said he could not check anyone in until after 3:00pm. I then again stated that I had a reservation for 5 days he said no my reservation was only for 4. I had to dig through my luggage and pull out my hotel confirmation that showed the 5 day reservation. He then continued to state that that is not what the computer had and that if I wanted to check in (now at 2:45 am) that I would have to pay an additional night because I was checking in 12 hours earlier than the check-in time. No one could check in before 3pm. I told him I did not care but I needed a room because I had a 7am meeting and to top it all off I could not even get my room type as I had reserved it. Over 30 minutes arguing in the lobby of a hotel for someone to give me a room for which I had a reservation for after 8 hours of travel with delayed flights and having to be up in less than 3 hours. And to top it all of he only offered the cookie by saying "well at least I can offer you a cookie for the inconvenience". Doesn't he know everyone gets a cookie regardless! When speaking with the other staff they continued to justify his behavior and their customer service was just as bad! Horrible experience! « less

An acceptable hotel, but it bears little resemblence to the half dozen or so Doubletrees we've stayed in, which were resort-like and classified in a higher Hilton tier. This one is an older property (maybe built by another chain originally?) that's seen better days. No morning buffet, just a limited breakfast choice on a sheet-of-paper menu in the very dark sports bar restaurant attached to the hotel. Didn't use business center, pool or exercise room. Decor a bit dated and worn, but very clean. Maintenance iffy - our top floor room had water stains in the 'cottage cheese' ceiling. The staff we met were welcoming and courteous. « less

This hotel get a "Very Good" because, the bad part is that the only parking is in the far rear of the building. If there is a party or an event in the hotel you will be parked way out in the back of the giant parking lot. Bring a coat in the winter, be sure to bring an umbrella if it is raining. Otherwise you will freeze on the way to your car or you will be soaking wet by the time you reach it. « less

For the price and long range proximity to airports, certainly not the best, most up-to-date Doubletree that I have stayed in. Felt more like a Hampton Inn - not that there's anything wrong with that. I stay at plenty of Hampton Inns. But the Doubletree hotels are usually a higher grade hotel than Hampton Inn. This one was not. Good service though - typical Hilton high-quality service. « less
