My room was a double queen. It had microwave, small fridge, desk, chair for reading and free wifi. The hotel outside was clean and neat. The room inside was also very clean, windowsills, ac/heat vents, bathroom and bedding. Guy at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. Offered to answer any questions that might come up later. I did not use the pool, but it appeared clean. Only complaint is that the room had an overpowering smell of cleaner/freshener/disinfectant, whatever they might have used. Aired out the room upon entering it and then the rest of the stay was fine. I had no problems with noise and was even on the main floor as my mother could not climb the stairs (no elevator). Overall very nice hotel stay with clean, quiet room and pleasant personnel. « less

While the room was clean and the staff was friendly and there was free WiFi, my stay was very disappointing. The windows are clearly not soundproofed, as I was awoken by trains (hotel is NOT next to tracks!) every 1-2 hours each night of my stay. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Due to a large number of guests towing boats, parking could be difficult. The side doors of the building are not locked, despite key card access. Housekeeping did not replace an empty toilet paper roll, and there were no washcloths. There was also a problem with my key cards not working. All in all, I won't be back or recommend the place. « less

This hotel is a stopping ground for my husband and I all the time. This hotel used to be the Fairfiled Inn but has changed over to the Country Inn & Suites. It is still the same owner, The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The new decor is nice and it is a quiet and clean hotel. We stay here during the off season when Ceder Point isn't open.That always seems to be the time we need to be in Port Clinton. There is no elevator so make sure you can walk stairs.The breakfast has a good selection and you get real plates and silverware. You wont be disappointed in the hotel. . « less

I had an opportunity to stay at this country and suites in Port Clinton Ohio due to the fact I found an incredible rate of $59.99 on www.hotelcoupons.com however when I checked in using my smart phone with the coupon the young lady behind the desk refused to take it. She told me specifically that she had to have a hard copy of the coupon told me to go over to the computer and print out the coupon which I Tried to. When I got to the computer it was not connected to the Internet and did not have paper so I explain this to the young lady behind the front desk but she told me I'm sorry I have to have a physical coupon. The hotel itself is very nice very clean and very quiet and I highly recommend it. « less
