The rooms were gross. No fire detectors. Toilets would not flush. Now have to fight to get out money back! « less

WORD OF ADVICE!!! Do NOT stay at this hotel. It is filthy and if you have to get a room late at night, you are talked to through what seems to be like a bulletproof mirror tinted window!! You cant even see who you are talking to, its like you are talking to yourself because all you can see is your own reflection. And if you arrive later than midnight-the entire transaction is done outside and you are not allowed into the lobby. LOOKS very unsafe at night, especially for women!! The room had a non working phone and the mattresses were all sunken in the middle and the room smelled of urine. I walked in the room and immediately walked out and checked out! I called a cab and stayed elsewhere. And although I IMMEDIATELY checked out, literally two minutes later, I was still charged for a full nights stay!! « less

Cons: The juice machine is still out of order and apparently has been for months. There is nothing healthy in the breakfast spread. The room felt dirty and I was afraid to walk in the floor without shoes. The towels are rough, not soft by any means. All night long you hear trains ... at least on our side of the building. The baseboard area of the wall was all torn up. The air conditioner/heater combo dial was broken and so we could not get heat. It was a record cold few days in May in San Antonio! We were cold all night. They are nowhere near the Riverwalk. They should just remove that to quit misleading people. The smoke detector has a plastic bag over it. That was concerning.
Nice people and with some rebranding and refurbishing things could get better. « less
