This was the second time I have stayed at Americinn Greenville. Awesome, friendly staff! Hanna went out of her way to make sure we had a room on the preferred floor. We had a great time in the spa, especially since it is Adults Only after 10:00 pm. Very relaxing. Good breakfast in the mornings! Great coffee, too. Would recommend to friends and family. « less

My family and I stayed at this lodge during the week of Spring Break. From the moment we arrived, Kim and the entire staff was great! Very accommodating, professional, always doing something, but could stop and help anyone who needed it in an instant! It's not a large hotel, which is nice, but the surroundings were very warm and inviting. The rooms were clean and well maintained. They have a pool with many areas for seating, a hot tub and a sauna - anything you could want. The only negative is that there is not a fitness center on site, but I did hear there is one a block or two away that guests could use for free. Would definitely go back! « less

I've stayed here a few times on business. The first time I had a king room, which had a fridge and microwave. The second time I was put in a "standard room" with two double beds, and I was disappointed that there was no fridge and micro.
Other reviewers have mentioned the beds and bedding; this is fairly standard motel quality. The room was clean but had a strong perfume/air freshener odor; I left the window open while I was at dinner to air the place out a bit.
When checking in I didn't receive any info about wi-fi; I'm assuming I could have called the desk but I think this should be given out to everyone checking in. The breakfast was fine but they ran out of sausage at 7:45 and didn't appear to have any plans to replenish it (although breakfast goes til 10).
There is no fitness center but you can use "The Club" fitness center down the street for free; I didn't use it this time because I forgot my sneakers but next time I definitely will. There are a lot of options for food/groceries/small town shopping within a half mile.
I honestly think the price is high for the quality and area but they are pretty much the only gig in town so I guess they can charge what they want. I've paid the same or less for a Hampton Inn with better quality bedding, mattresses, and breakfast. The people who work there are very nice; but the facilities are pretty average. « less

Stayed here Jan 16th-20th 2013 in room 301 Very clean room, comfortable beds and great hot breakfast. There is also an indoor pool/spa area with adult swim between 10 & midnight. It was also very quiet except for our last night. The wind was blowing hard and there was a very loud banging noise coming from the roof area. The banging was loud enought to be disruptive. I called the front desk around 11 pm and was told that they had that problem before and that I could change rooms. But being late and in my pj's I declined. The banging finally stopped around 2 am as whatever it was finally came off. I told the front desk about it the next morning and they gave me a $15 discount. I was disappointed in that amount because this had been a problem before that hadn't been fixed, although since it came off I'm sure it is now, but would ask. I would have gave 5 stars had it not been for the banging « less

"It was very convenient and the bids were timely. Only hotels that met my criteria responded and I considered hotels and parts of town that I otherwise would not have considered." L.I. - Atlanta, GA
