My family and i traveled to Orlando for a family getaway during spring break. I called and made a reservation a week in advance. I specifically told the reservationist that i would be traveling with my fiance and my 13 year old son. I also told her i was a travel agent and would be using my travel agent discount. She told me I didn't need my travel agent card so i left it at home 6 hours away. When i arrive to the hotel the front desk agent tells me she cant honor my reservation not only because i didn't have my travel agent car but because I was booked for a king bed with the three of us she could not allow us to check in. She tried to find us a room but was sending us across town with no directions as to where we are going and the price of hotel she sent us to was double the price i was going to pay for that one. I will never , never , never recommend this property to any of my friends or colleagues. The Holiday Inn Express has lost my business for life. « less

I made a reservation online about a month ago for 2 rooms and was a bit nervous because lately I haven't had good experiences with some hotels. However, when we got there, the check in was quick. They had all the information and exactly what I asked for. The rooms were nice and clean. The bathrooms were very clean and had plenty of towels. It had a flat screen TV and the beds were comfortable. Wi-Fi was complementary so it was the breakfast. The breakfast was pretty good, I just wished they have had some fruits. The drive to International drive is about 8 minutes more or less, and I think is worth it. I have rented hotels at international drive for more money and they cannot even compare. My husband, our daughters and I had a great time. I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend it to anyone with a destination in the area of Universal. It is also located very close to a variety of stores and restaurants, and the price was right!! « less

My wife and I stayed here twice in March 2013; before and after Bradenton. It was a comfortable and clean facility with the standard breakfast buffet. The location was ideal and and fairly close to our destination of Universal Studio, City Walk, and some facilities on Universal Blvd. Stay away from Logan's Steakhouse (separate review). The staff here (Holiday Inn Express) was courteous and relatively efficient. When we checked in the second time there was no soap in the rest room. Housekeeping eventually provided. « less

We picked this location based on reviews and was not disappointed. The food for breakfast was a good way to start the day and the kids loved the pool even though it was 15 outside they still swam. The location is across the street from the Dollar store and ROSS which gave the cheapest prices. Chilis is also across the street. Logans Roadhouse is across the parking lot which has good food but slow service. The hotel staff was friendly and accomidating and the only thing I have to say negative was my son had crumbs on the bed so I asked for a complete linen change and it was not done. And lastly which has nothing to do with the hotel but I booked through travelocity not realizing i wouldn't get my points- NOW that I did not like. Maybe someone will see that and make some changes. Hotel great and wonderful stay. Oh an we got the upgrade free because of our priority points status. The room was freakin HUGE. « less
