Recently had 10 day stay visiting family in Glendale. Nice two room suite with separate bedroom to lounge area. Loved having small kitchen with coffee machine and microwave, fridge etc. Nice breakfast with made to order omelette station and enough variety not to be boring in a long stay. Happy hour with free drinks and nibbles every day is a nice touch if you're back in the hotel between 5.30 and 7.30pm. Only managed to attend once but a nice touch. Parking under hotel useful if a bit pricey as is Internet access. Very clean rooms, good little fitness room and a pool area which is clean and has a hot tub but is not in a good area as it overlooks the main road outside the hotel which is noisy and busy so perhaps it would have been better placed elsewhere. I think overall good value for the LA area. « less

We stayed at Embassy Suites Los Angeles/Glendale on the last weekend of April for a two night stay. We were not pleased with this hotel. 1. They charge $15 per day for parking, which is not cheap, but we didn't really have much of a choice. The 2nd night, they overbooked their parking for an event going on at the hotel and they were directing guests to park at the structure next door. The staff member said, it'll only cost $12 instead of the $15 we would have charged you. When we picked up the car, the parking turned out to be $21. 2. This Embassy Suites charges for the WiFi. At this day and age, it does not make sense for them to be charging for WiFi. They do have the business center downstairs with a couple of computers and printers that guests can use for free, however, there was a wait since others are trying to use it as well. 3. Our room was never cleaned by housekeeping during our stay. We left our room for several hours during the day and found it in the same condition when we returned. I submitted my comments online when we returned but never heard anything back from them. We've stayed at several Embassy Suites during our travels but we will never stay at this one again. « less

I had a very good 4 night stay at the Embassy Suites. Excellent lobby and entrance. Easily accessible and well-lit underground parking. My two room suite was large with a kitchen/bar area and separate bedroom - overall much bigger than the average L.A. hotel. My only complaint were the few signs of age in my room - chipped furniture, stained carpet, marks on the wall - none too major, but could be better. Also, my advice is to pay the extra money and pick a city view or mountain view room. Otherwise you only have a view of the hotel atrium, which is a bit claustrophobic. « less
