I stayed at Nine Zero over St. Patrick's Day weekend with a friend who was visiting from out of town (I live north of Boston). Aside from being the perfect home base for us (it's located seconds from the Common and a few more steps from Newbury Street, Faneuil Hall and countless other top attractions), Nine Zero provided Kimpton-caliber service, fun perks and great food. Definitely join Kimpton's InTouch Loyalty Program if you're a frequent visitor; the $10 minibar credit and complimentary Wi-Fi *always* come in handy. We ordered room service twice and both times the staff were cheerful and courteous--and the food was delicious! The overall ambiance is sleek and sophisticated, but everyone who was working when we visited was tremendously kind and not pretentious in the least. It's probably clear by now that I'm a huge Kimpton fan, and Nine Zero just might be my favorite Kimpton yet. « less

This is a super hotel. Great central location yet the rooms are a quiet oasis from the hustle & bustle of Boston. We walked everywhere from the hotel and would certainly recommend as a central location.
The staff are a real credit to the Kimpton Hotel Group - pleasant, present, professional and personable. Particular mention goes to Sammy. Thank you for your help when we dropped our bags off before we returned after we dropped our car back to the airport. A great introduction to our stay.
Room was lovely with robes, lots of beautiful soft towels and a great bathroom. Great large comfortable bed and a good touch having a CD player for when you get ready to head out.
Wine hour is a lovely treat - a small lounge, and busy. A nice way to start the evening.
Make sure you join the Kimpton club for the additional perks ($10 spend in mini bar and free wifi etc).

We stayed for 4 nights during our daughter's graduation from Emerson. We have stayed at many of the surrounding hotels and this was by far our best experience of the 4+ years that we have been frequenting Boston. They met our ever need including stain remover, Static Guard and bandaids. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. I recommend becoming a Kimpton In Touch member as they give nice perks such as free internet. No complaints! « less

What a great little find Nine Zero was, situated in the centre of Boston we couldn't ask for a better hotel,we stayed in Boston for 4 days and the hotel was in a perfect location everything was in waking distance and Boston common was a 5 minute walk away which had a ice skating ring which was on Frog pond and when it snowed it was magical... The hotel rooms were the nicest that we have ever stayed in, and the next hotel which we stay in when we go back to the States will be a Kimpton hotel...... « less

My husband and I have stayed around the world and will only pick Kimpton when given a choice of one available. As a travel writer, I think that Kimpton properties cover everything and offer guests more than some five star properties I have been at! « less
