Stayed for 3 nights and took the free shuttle bus from Charlotte airport. Check-in was quick, but I was assigned a terrible room which faced the elevators. I don't mind being close usually, but these rooms actually have a window facing the elevator lobby which is just weird. I was moved after a huff at the front desk.
The room was large, clean, and well appointed. Aveda products are in the bathrooms which was an added bonus. Food at the restaurant was so so, but I think I made a bad menu choice as it was pretty late. The bar is great with a lively scene (a little too lively one night but security was very polite) and then concierge lounge had a good selection for breakfast and evening snacks.
One night, the hotel very kindly shuttled 12 of us to an amazing local restaurant (Mac's Speed Shop) for dinner one night. A definite bonus that saved ordering 4 taxis! « less
