The hotel is showing it's age. The front desk girl was pleasant and courteous, check in was prompt. The rooms are clean but dated. The reason I am giving it a two star rating is the quality of the food. Went to the lounge, ordered the Roasted Vegetable Pasta for 16 dollars, not only was the dish tasteless slop but the vegetables were not roasted and in fact barely cooked. There was some annoying Kareoke going on at full blast, all in all an unpleasant experience. « less

Not the hotels fault at all. They were very accommodating and moved a roll away in the room for the night and moved us to a new room w 2 doubles the next morning. Fantastic! We loved the indoor pool and ate at the restaurant where the funny chef made our omelets. Overall this place was really fantastic! We would stay here again for sure! « less

We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night in April. Check in was easy and friendly, and we were assigned a room on the top floor. The hotel was pretty full as evidenced by the parking lot packed with vehicles and buses. Our room was clean and simple and the beds were very comfortable. You can tell that this is an older establishment, but we felt that it was well maintained. A few criticisms: Our room didn't have a "do not disturb sign" so we were awakened by housekeeping knocking at 10:00 am. The entrance to the hotel is a revolving glass door and a double pull door, neither of which are very efficient when trying to enter the building with hands full of bags and luggage. They should consider having a large sliding glass door instead. There was also a low-pitched continual humming noise in our rooms which I attributed to us being on the top floor where there were probably fans/AC/Electrical units on the roof. We were able to sleep well, but it was still noticeable. Overall the hotel met our needs and provided a comfortable stay for a weekend in Nashville. « less
