There are free, fresh baked cookies and a variety of snacks available adjacent to the front desk that are greatly preferable to vending machines. Holiday Inn Express is my choice when traveling for business. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, good shower pressure, and large, soft towels. The towels are starting to show some wear and tear, but they are still much better than other similarly priced hotels. It's great to have a microwave and mini-fridge. No one does breakfast better than HIE. Love their cinnamon rolls and pancake maker. There is one problem in the bathroom - the vanity and sink are too high for someone short!! I had to stand on my tippy toes in order to wash my hands or rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth! I don't believe I have had this problem before at a Holiday Inn Express! The staff here are all very nice and helpful. Clean rooms, hot shower, and great breakfast - who could ask for anything more!! « less
