CIVANA Carefree offers 176 guestrooms and 15,000 square feet of meeting space onsite to include the Sunset Terrace, the New Event Lawn and the Spa Café & Courtyard. We are located 15-20 minutes north of Scottsdale, or about 45 minutes from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. Our retreat offers two swimming pools, five tennis courts, an outdoor hot tub, outdoor fire pits, a spa with five treatment rooms and mountain bikes. We have horseback riding, jeep tours, hot air balloon tours and even a local mine can be toured nearby. In fact, many of our groups will take our scheduled shuttle over to the Buffalo Chip Saloon in Cave Creek to watch the live bull riding competition. As you can see there is plenty to see and do nearby!The resort's signature restaurant, the Terras, creates a warm, comfortable ambiance with inspiring mountain views. The intimate dining room features a delightful collection of healthy cuisine.
