This was my 8th time staying at the Holiday Inn Koger Center. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room had nice linens and plenty of nice pillows. The bathroom was clean and the shampoo, lotion, and conditioner they supply are nice. Loved having a frig and microwave in the room. It made having something to have for a quick snack easy to get. The restaurant is a little expensive but the hot food bar they offer for dinner is great price as is the cold salad bar. The location is fantastic since it is near shopping, the mall, and lots of nice restaurants. I was here for a conference found the hotel easy to get to and the staff very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. « less

I stayed here for a meeting for one night. The room was recently updated and was fresh and clean. The bathroom was not renovated, and the wallpaper was very old and peeling. I think they may be doing the bathrooms soon. The toilet took forever to fill, so it hissed a long time, but that was the only maintenance issue. The room was very quiet, and the staff were very pleasant. « less

It was the perfect location for my business trip, The office was within walking distance so I didn't get a car. Luckily there is a decent restaurant on site, because there are no sidewalks or crosswalks in this area of Richmond. When I checked in, they did not have a King sized bed, so I received an upgrade to the Junior suite. It would have been more convenient to have a table in the living room area rather than just the desk in the bedroom area, but with space at a premium I can understand why they didn't. « less

Apparently there were a lot of activities taken place -- given the full parking lot, busy 'happy hour' environment in the lobby bar area, and music playing near the side area. The elevators were super slow too. There wasn't enough staff on hand considering the number of people in the hotel at the time. The room was ok, but seemed muggy/musty like, so we had the air on 70s (despite the fact is was 50s/60s outside). Someone decided to knock on our door and run away making noise at 4 am! We never saw or heard much about a free breakfast, or not. « less
