The suites are a bit small & the furniture was arranged strangely to fit in. If your room is on the Harbor Blvd side...you had better have earplugs. It is very loud. The buffet breakfast was more extensive than at most residence Inns, but there are kid's everywhere. With the proximity to Disneyland, it is to be expected...we had hoped for a little more quiet experience. « less

We are a family of 4 on a Disney vacation. Our 6 yr old was so excited about the bunk beds and TV in their own room! And our 16 month old slept just like he was at home in the pack in play the hotel provided. This in of itself made the trip. But on top of that, the hotel room was very nice, it was like staying in an apartment. The kitchenette was stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, and they even offer a grocery service, although we didn't use it, it was nice to know it was available. We had purchased pre-marinated meat and used the grills by the pool, fortunately they also had all the tools to grill, as we didn't even think to pack those. We really enjoyed the breakfast each morning, the variety was very good, and everyone left full. There is also a laundry facility, it wasnt something I expected to use, but as my son was obsessed with his new spiderman shorts, so this also became a great resource. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful, even the construction workers were courteous and professional. We were also pleasantly surprised at how quiet the hotel was, and family oriented. We will definitely be back to this hotel, and I can't reccomend it enough, especially if you have kids traveling with you. « less

We used this hotel for our Southern California base, all started very well on check in, the staff were freindly and exceptionally helpful, offering advice all the time and nothing was too much trouble, everytime we returned we were greeted by a staff member.
The room, a King + 2 Queen bed 2 bedroom suite was prefect for our group of 3, and worked out similar price to 2 rooms at a lesser hotel (or motel) The free breakfast was really good always fresh fruit and hot food, there was plenty of room in the dinning room or outside (where I dinned mostly) There was juice and softdrink as well as tea and coffee.
A real bonus was free dinner as well on weekdays, we only made it back once but it was perfect, simple food like make your own tacos/barritos but it was free and there was softdrink and juice as well.
We were constantly in the spa at the closing time of 10pm but the staff allowed us to stay longer so long as we were not noisy and turned the spa off when we had finished, it was these touched that really impressed me about this place. If I return to Disney area you can bet I will return here.
Also the hotel waived the usual $10 a night parking for us which was really apprciated. « less

We could walk to restaurants and cook in our kitchenette when we felt like it. I love their complimentary breakfast buffet (every morning). I heard they had free dinner Monday through Thursday.
