We have just returned home from our second visit to the Holiday Inn Express in Byron Georgia and again found our stay to be comfortable and met all our expectations. The staff was very friendly from the time we arrived through our departure and greeted us each time we entered to hotel. The room was clean and comfortable; the breakfast offered a nice assortment of both hot and cold items and was always refreshed and well maintained.
I would certainly recommend this property for others staying in the Byron area. « less

I was told the hotel was using their new tub design which I felt is a problem. Floor in tub is V shaped which does not allow your feet to be on a safe flat even surface. Combine that with the soapy water you have an accident waiting to happen. Design people weren't thinking , but I bet attorneys representing accident victims will be aware of the problem. I tried thinking the situation from all sides and couldn't come up with one reason or benefit of the design. Thanks Bill « less

The hotel tubs were built as such however we do have non slip surface on the bottom of all our tubs to aid in preventing slips. We do have a few rooms that have walk in shower if you prefer. Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience. The feedback we receive from valued guests like you help us target problem areas and we welcome any opportunity to improve.

Only challenge with this hotel is there is very few places to eat that are nearby. We had to drive about 10 minutes to find a sit down restaurant. I would return « less
