We stayed overnight following a family wedding. We checked in before the wedding and changed in our room. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, well appointed and included a kitchen area with microwave, fridge, sink, cupboards, counter, a sofabed and a second flat screen TV. It would have been ideal if you were staying longer than overnight. I particularly liked the fact that the floor was hardwood which is less likely to harbour germs etc. than carpet. The complimentary hot breakfast buffet in the morning was amazing! « less

The staff were amazing, very polite, friendly and helpful! We went up to the hot tub -not only amazing but such a great view, great music and friendly people. The breakfast was fantastic! If you need a place to stay in downtown Toronto that is reasonably priced and quite convenient, consider staying at the Grand. Formerly, the RCMP HQ in Toronto, it was converted to a hotel a few years back. The highlight is definitely the rooftop hot tubs. A terrific view of the city and a great way to relax at the end of a busy day. « less

In Toronto for a routine business trip. Was just expecting a nice place to stay, but the Grand was just that--GRAND!!! The suite/balcony was beautiful, clean, comfortable and a pleasure to come "home" to each day! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful...from the doormen, desk clerks, room service, drivers, etc.!! We ate most meals at the Restaurant and they were all delicious, well presented, with excellent service. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and hope to return in the future! « less
