This hotel is good reception staff can seem quite rude and not very nice, didn't speak very good English but that could of been because they where not very professional compared to other Best Western hotels I've stayed at. Rooms are clean and very comfortable beds and good selection for breakfast too. Plenty of car parking spaces available but you have to be early as spaces are full most nights also 2 mins from train station and amenities. Probably the best best hotel on the road compared to some of the shocking hotels available. « less

The only downside is that there is no lift .A little bit tricky if you have large luggage . Sleep quality good . A very pleasant stay . Very good value for money . « less

I stayed last night in the Best Western in Ilford. They put me in a parking lot away from the two buildings which was anything but secure. The room was in an annexe half built under the road. The doorway to the room opened to a lit corridor (lit all night) with a roller blind that only covered half the door window. Noise was awful - road traffic and the sound of rain splattering the glass walkway above ensured I got no sleep at all. No surprises then that the next morning the hair dryer didn't work and the shower rapidly went from cold to hot, to cold etc.
It wasn't all bad - the room was clean and the breakfast was good - probably the most expensive breakfast I have ever paid for, as the room wasn't worth a penny of the £80. Shocking hotel. « less

I really enjoyed my stay at the best western Ilford and there will be many more. The hotel has been recently refurbished to a good standard most rooms have a shower not a bath, which suits me but some people prefer a bath. the rooms are all very clean and modern, although they have not fully thought through the location of the beds ie putting a double against the wall when it could easily be away from the wall, allowing occupants to gain access from both sides of the bed. the staff are all very friendly both on the reception and at breakfast. it takes about 20 mins to get to London, so ideal for working in London as I do. « less
