After a very long day, I was greeted by a very friendly desk person. They apologized for not being able to contact me about my room request, but all 2 queen suites are on the second floor. Not a problem, and I was soon in my room. 2 queen suite was perfect for our needs. Roomy, clean, quite. Decent breakfast. Easy to get to and would stay again. « less

I purchased the room on sale through Orbitz. When we were checking in around 8:45 pm a group of 30 or so pre-teens with a chaperone entered the lobby to check-in and as it turns out we all were on the 2nd floor, our room in the middle of their block. Of course they were loud, running around the hall until 11 pm and banging on the walls. It makes absolutely no sense to stick strangers in a block of rooms like that.
The room itself was not that clean. There was an odd smell almost like a deodorizer to mask something worse that assaulted you as you entered. Dirt was visible on the carpets in the room and throughout the property. The bed spread looked disgusting and was promptly removed. Parking was not convenient and we had to lug all our stuff across a lot and up the stairs. The front desk check-in was extremely friendly, the highlight of the stay.
We stayed at the Best Western Guthrie a few nights ago and had a great experience. Unfortunately the weren't available and this BW is a big step down for the same price. « less
