The rooms and views were great and a surprise. I really appreciated the ability to get points for going "green" and not having service. What I found unacceptable is that on our two night stay, turning away all service to be green - they somehow tried to charge me for the expensive in room water. No one came in the room to be able to put that in the system. Just makes me question whether they charge for the heck of it or not. They reversed the charge but I had to point out this fact to convince the woman at checkout. « less

We booked this property because of its location and it is fantastic. However, that is what you are paying for, not the service or the rooms. Sometimes Sheraton has some great discounted offers but we've not been able to get them at this property. The service is lackluster and it seemed to me that they catered to corporate clients. The rooms are typical of Sheraton, but not worth the money. We go back once a year to visit family and now have stayed elsewhere. « less

Always peace of mind with a stay here due to the level of service. Had a rough patch last year when an issue arose and then mgt promised to compensate (after reading my reviews, requesting me to update them, which I did) then never followed through. This year when booking on the national line, i brought up the issue at the end which I was pleased to find the agent had alerted the Suites. Upon arrival in Ohio I received a phone call requesting details prior to my checking in. Once there, Simon, whom was great last year with all the craziness of huge groups checking in late, contacted the manager to go over details. Edson followed through admirably as he said he would. As always all staff on the ground exceeded expectations. The restaurant , fitness center, desk personnel, shift managers perfect. The only less than 5 stars I could give this review revolves around a minor disappointment with the spa / pool area being renovated. I love a spa after a workout. « less

The breakfast view of the river was a spectacular way to start the day off and the server was extremely pleasant. Nothing unpleasant to report about this hotel. « less
