Property is very nice, and very convenient for walking most places in Louisville. Our view was of an old abandoned parking garage looking East. The Champions bar was nice down stairs and beer was decently priced. the property is not cheap, I'm a blue collar kind of guy, so the $22/day parking fee is quite outrageous. But hey what you going to do? Upon arrival we were told our King room was not available for our anniversary weekend, and told we were getting 2 queens. Then suddenly a King appeared but it was a Handicap accessible room. I felt bad taking it, because of that. For the inconvenience they waived the $15/day internet fee..... WOOOOOO! I would have rather had the parking waived. There are many other nice facilities nearby that include the parking for roughly similar price. Next time I will probably stay there, or directly across the bridge in Indiana, for much cheaper and pay $5 to park and sightsee. There are many neat attractions , but was disappointed that the city had not cleaned and spruced up the George Rogers Clark Monument area on the river. Lots of trash and weeds, and no landscaping yet this year. « less

I stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip; the hotel hosted the conference for four days. The hotel has a beautiful lobby and makes a great first impression when you walk in. The customer service and attention to detail is exceptional at this hotel. I ordered room service one evening and it was delivered in a very timely fashion with good quality food. The rooms are spacious and very clean - housekeeping does a fantastic job. The beds are super comfortable with plenty of pillows and soft sheets. The bathroom is large and very clean; with more than enough towels. The Marriott catered our conference and the food was very good all around. Overall - I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The customer service is really what stood out for me - employees went out of their way to make sure every aspect of your stay was to the way you wanted it. « less
