Me and my husband have stayed here several times and from last year to this year we have seen a huge decline in maintenance side of upkeep. We arived at the enrty door with our bags and a woman was smoking at that was 5 feet from main enrty door at a small outdoor bistro table by main enrtyway that . Main lobby looked clean, but the cleaners use the stair way that you can use instead of elevator to store their cleaning items and cart. Hallway walls were scuffed all the way from elevator to our room very badly. I was a little upset that we were not called in advance to be told that the King size bedroom would not be available due to carpets needing to be cleaned, so we were offered a room with two queen size beds. The window coverings were falling down in the room we were assigned to due to a screw / molly bolt that had been pulled out of ceiling so they were just hanging by one side. There was a hole in the sheets that looked like it was from a past cigarette burn (but they were clean). Breakfast was powdered doughnuts that were a little mushy and had a wet feeling that makes me believe they were very old as well as the black bannanas, juice was a pink powdered juice of some kind that you mix with water and there were also some very dried out looking buiscuits that you could put gravy on, some slices of bread that looked dried out as well that you were able to put in toaster. I would have made a waffle but their was someone making them for her kids and I did not have a lot of time to wait. « less

My concerns were that the breakfast bar was very basic with not much to choose from (no protein at all but lots of sugar) and the Wifi didn't work which I was told it would. I have read in other reviews from months ago that the wi-fi just doesn't work so the hotel staff should not tell customers that it does. That could be a very important reason someone chooses a specific hotel. « less

The stay was really nice and so are the staff, in the end I was almost sorry to leave. Upon arriving I found myself greeted with the utmost respect and with the most wonderful service. The manager explained everything I had available and helped explain the wifi service and how to use the service very quickly.
Entering the room, it was spacious, clean and quiet (couldn't hear noise). The bathroom is also modest and very clean. The bed was one thing that if I could take him home, I would have done. Hard in the right places and very comfortable....
These are the things that made me enjoy my stay at this hotel, but my warmest congratulations to the hotel for their choice of personnel. They know how to really make you feel at home, and if you need anything it is like asking a family member. Congratulations from the heart, you were fantastic.
I'm not sure what the bad reviews mentioned below are about but there was no construction taking place at night time and my family and I enjoyed our stay at the Travelodge. We plan on visiting in the near future again. « less
