My wife and I arrived in Evasnsville on a two day business trip just yesterday. There are plenty of inns and hotels nearby this eastern area of the city, so an "extended stay" type of place seemed unusual for a two-day business meeting, but I surmised that the other company who directed us here had their reasons. By the end of my trip, those reasons were not evident. Clean? No. Other reviewers have written about this problem and likely in a better fashion than I can. I will add that when we left for a late afternoon meeting and notified the staff of our departure, the room was spruced up upon our return. Breakfast? Sorry, it was available, but there wasn't that much available that I wanted. I agree that Scott provides good service and a great environment, but one man cannot be the only reason to stay especially when the front desk appears to be "Walking Dead" extras. Price? Are you kidding? Yes, we booked a suite, but its size was about half of an extended stay suite I stayed at in Fargo, ND. Yes, Fargo, ND. The bed was advertised as king sized, but even describing it as a queen is a stretch. It was more like a full size. « less

I have been staying at this Residence Inn since October and couldn't be happier. It has proved to be a more than content place to have stayed during the last 6 months. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the staff is not only accommodating and hard working, but the friendliest staff I have met as a frequent guest of hotels. The General Manager April is the utmost of professionalism, always there to listen with a warm and welcoming smile. I would stay here again and I will recommend this hotel to anyone that I tak to. « less

Scott, the guy who takes care of the breakfast and dining area, is the best asset to this hotel. He is super friendly and obviously takes pride in his breakfast and dinner bar. The food is fresh, well presented, the area is clean and you are always greeted when walking into the place.
The young man who checked us in was super helpful and friendly also (I didn't get his name, but he's studying physical therapy)
Room was clean and stocked, appearance of hotel was up to date, pet bomb bags were available at all the exits (they allow pets), unfortunately way too many people choose NOT to use them, but it is not the hotels' fault there are irresponsible pet owners (I fear soon the management will stop allowing pets if the complaints pile up).
The rest of the staff was friendly. My only discouraging remark would be towards the manager. She was upset that the kid checking us in allowed a military/government discount, stating that he should not have,and that we could go over to the Fairfield for that rate. When I showed her on HER website that he was correct in the rate, she was very standoffish. Would not honor the rate when we tried to extend our stay, so we went across the pond to the Hampton, which has about the same quality, but they do not have Scott :( Oh well.... « less
