We stay there every month. We upgraded so we could stay on the 1st floor. When we got there they had moved us to the 3rd floor. It was cold and damp feeling for some reason.

I had a last minute stay over in Evansville for work. Just happen to talk with my local customer and they suggested Hilton Garden's. I took the 8 mile drive, from the minute I walked in the door, it was an excellent experience. Although everyone is dealing with the COVID 19, everyone was still very pleasant. The parking lot was only about 1/8th full, but for some reason or another, it appears they were putting everyone in the same area of the hotel. My only complaint was, the people in the room next to me were pretty loud and rowdy after me working a 16 hr. day on the job site, driving four hrs. previously to get on the job site, so needless to say I was rather tired, but couldn't really sleep and had to be back on site the next morning at 7 AM. I should've asked to be moved, I guess this is my own fault, but was so tired, didn't want to bother. Not sure why they put everyone so close together when there were so many rooms available. Very nice place, nice people, will return. Tim.

Upon arriving the entire first floor lobby, hallways and elevators were covered in dust. No mention of hotel being under construction. Upon entering my room on the first floor, I was overwhelmed by the paint smell. I went back to the lobby to let them know I couldn't sleep in a room all night that smelled like that and was wanting to cancel my reservation. I was assured there would be no cancellation fee charged. Of course, the next day, my bank statement showed a cancellation fee.
