The Hyatt Sarasota takes pride in announcing its recent multi-million dollar renovations to the Hotel and grounds. November 2000 marked the unveiling of our newly constructed 10,000 sq ft “Sarasota Ballroom”, and 2001 for the renovation of our guestrooms and corridors. Our $1.5 million dollar Lagoon swimming pool completed last October, features cascading waterfalls, tropical landscaping, whirlpool spa, pool bar, game room and laundry facilities. We also rebuilt our marina and have added 32-slip Bellingham Floating Dock System, which is awesome. In addition, the front and back entrances to the hotel have been enhanced with brick paver walkways and a magnificent modern piece of artwork that stands 20’ high in front. The lush tropical grounds, our resort-lagoon swimming pool, Bellingham 32 slip floating dock Marina system and state-of-the-art Conference Center, will inspire the group in our captivating surroundings.The Hotel boasts of a new lagoon style pool…the most dramatic pool on the West Coast of Florida. This 130' pool has a zero-entry depth, as well as 30' waterfalls as its focal point. It also includes a twelve-person whirlpool spa and state of the art cascading water features, while over looking the private Hyatt Marina on Sarasota Bay.
Additional on site amenities include: bicycle rentals, an arcade, laundry facilities, a fitness center with private massages available and fishing/sightseeing excursions provided by many local’s to include Chitwood Charters from our private marina. Our marina is an extension of the property leading to the waterways, beaches & the many recreational options Sarasota has to offer. The opportunities from the Hyatt Sarasota marina are endless!

Our third time here and it was amazing. We brought friends visiting from Canada with us and made sure to get rooms with the balcony over looking the marina. They fell in love with the place by the end of the weekend. We spotted manatees in the marina, swam in the pool and used their awesome huge hot tube with a waterfall. This hotel is simply perfection to me and I can't wait to come back. So lovely that it doesn't even bother me that it is not oceanfront. They make up for it in other ways. « less

My wife and kids stayed here last month for a seminar. We had a great time at the hotel and the staff was wonderful. Food is decent but pretty surprised that they offer NO KIDS menu poolside. Awkward rooms, extremely limited room to put clothes away. 1 small dresser and closet. Definitely not the place to go for a vacation but it was a good time for a seminar and was relatively close to plenty of beaches, restaurants and town. I would return for a seminar, Definitely NOT for a vacation. « less

Lots of smokers, when we walked from parking to hotel, smoking in the pool area also. Our room was not clean, chips on the floor, water was not draining in tub. The manager on duty was not helpful, finally got changed to a new room after suggesting. She said she was the final point of contact!! Nice place to stay if the smokers were not at the pool. T « less
