Traveling home from Hilton Head we stayed in Atlanta overnight so we could go to Ikea and Morelli;s for ice cream. I always like to stay North of Atlanta, Marietta if I can to avoid early morning traffic in Atlanta. First stay at this Quality Inn. Older hotel which has been renovated. Owner Shaw checked us in, very friendly and fast checkin. Furniture showed wear, but room was clean and linens looked new. Severe laack of outlets, and they had not been replaced, so from wear they would not keep chargers plugged in. I carry an extension cord, which in this hotel was very handy. Somewhat disappointed pool was closed. Looked like it had been opened for the season, but gate and sign indicated is was closed. Surprisingly being near the main road, it was fairly quiet. We were on the back side overlooking the parking lot. Fridge and microwave are new, at the foot of the bed it was obviously an addition during the renovation. Older TV, not flat screen, but it was just one night. Breakfast next morning was the usual fare. Dining room right off the lobby, not real large, but this morning not crowded. Hotel guests was a mix of travelers, and contractors. Contractors apparently got a welcome package with orange, chips, water, and granola bar. As a reward member, I was not offered one, so I presume it was a promo to get return guests. Very experienced in Atlanta hotels, and this is one I will consider staying at again. Marietta is a good area with lots to offer in shopping and eating, and this location is near the main exit, easy in and easy out from side road. « less

On our return to the North we chose(after checking Trip Advisor reviews) to stay at this Quality Inn. We booked ahead and arrived at 11:00 PM after an 10 hr drive. On check in I was asked for my CAA/AAA card which apparently you must have to get the rate quoted on Hotels.com where I booked the room. So just a watch out when you book because this web site did not require my card # when I booked. Was not a problem tho. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean as well. The breakfast was good with a wide range of choices and hot coffee and tea. Also it was close to I-75 for easy off and on. I would recommend this property and will plan to stay again next year. « less

This Hotel was a spur of the moment decision, I was tired and needed a rest. I made the horrible mistake of leaving my purse behind, I know bad mistake. Mind you I only left my purse, no wallet, nothing of value to anyone else, but my keys to my car & house. So after realizing my error I contact customer service rep and he states the maids haven't turned anything in. I told cust.service rep all I wanted was my keys, that to please speak with housekeeper that cleaned room. I know that noone else took purse, so who else. Guess they needed my keys to my house and car more me. Thanks for your gracious, theiving hospitality. Never sleep there if you expect honesty and great customer service. When I come bck to Georgia soon, I will make sure to go somewhere the service is stellar. « less
