The Howard Johnson Inn & Suites and Conference Center is conveniently located off of I95 directly outside the University of Delaware campus and the city of Newark.
The hotel completed full renovations in 2008, and the rooms are beautiful. All guest rooms and suites are over-sized (25% larger than standard hotels) and new from the floor up! We offer King Standards (1 King bed), Queen Standards (2 Queen beds), King Suites (King bed, sleeper sofa, and living area), Double Suites (2 Double beds, sleeper sofa, and living area), King Jacuzzi Suites (with 3 themes to chose from), and Handicap-Accessible Suites (1 King bed and sleeper sofa). All accommodations include a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee-maker.
A complimentary deluxe continental breakfast with hot Belgian waffles and eggs is included in all rates. Our newly renovated breakfast room is an enclosed room and seats up to 55 people, which is convenient for large groups. The hotel provides free high-speed wireless Internet and there is a complimentary Business Center in the lobby. Additionally, there is a Fitness Center, on-site laundry, and Outdoor Pool.
The Conference Center provides over 4000 square feet of space and consists of
3 general Meeting rooms and 2 Banquet rooms. It is a perfect location for anything from a small business meeting to a large celebration.
