I stayed at this hotel this weekend. It was a spur of the moment trip out of town with a friend. We both had stressful weeks at work and wanted a girls night out. When we arrived at the hotel we were very excited to see how beautiful the lobby was. The hotel concierge told us about the hotel, since it was our first time there, and checked us in. When we walked into our room we were speechless. It was wonderful, we each laid down on our beds and let out a sigh of releif, we knew this was just what we needed! The beds were so comfy. We went over to the local casino, had some fun, then came back and quickly fell asleep. I woke up early to enjoy the pool and hot tub. THis was just what I needed!!! We have been staying at the Cambria 2 weeks a month or more for months. We were quoted a price upon checking in. We checked out yesterday & they had raised the price. The lady at the desk did not fix the issue nor seem to care. She was the same lady who double charged us in January & that issue still has not been addressed by management. We like the Cambria, it's clean & safe. Just please honor your word. I would recommend it, just get in writing quoted price. « less

We always want our guests to feel safe & taken care of. I apologize for the confusion regarding the rate during your stay. Our hotel has a variety of specialty rates available, both corporate & leisure. Our leisure rates fluctuate based on availablity & our corporate rates are renegotiated at the end of every year. Guests who have taken advantage of a specific corporate discount in the 4th quarter may find that the contracted rate has increased when they return in the 1st or 2nd quarter. We understand that coporate travel departments don't always pass along corporate hotel information to their employees & that can create friction & confusion at check in or check out. However, all hotel guests are required to inital their room rate upon check in in order to ensure that the correct discount has been applied. If you have any further questions or concerns, please call the hotel directly & we'd be happy to clear up any confusion. Thank you again for the feeback on your stay.

I checked in Wednesday and was the only person on my reservation (I am a female). My key didn’t work on Wednesday night, I got it replaced, and it failed to work Thursday morning. I never was asked to show ID for a new key.
It failed again on Thursday night. But, when I asked for a new key, they told me that I had checked out of the room (which I had not). I entered the room to find all of my stuff had been removed. When I went back down, I saw a lot of my stuff sitting in a GARBAGE BAG at the front desk! My suitcase was found in another part of the hotel. While I was at dinner my Kindle 'magically' was found in a back storage room, but my toiletries were never recovered (not did management offer to replace them).
They had my cell phone on file, but rather than call and ask if there was a miscommunication the staff violated my privacy and treated my belongings as if they were trash.
The only explanation they had for why this happened was that "Mr. Allen checked out at 7:10 in the morning." There was no "Mr.Allen" on the reservation and I gave no authorization to check me out early, or to touch my belongings.
I was told to bring this up with the manager in the morning, but come to find out there was no manager on duty (only an incredibly condescending front desk clerk). There was no customer service, and really no act or appearance of contrition on the part of the hotel. « less

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to apologize on behalf of the Cambria staff for any confusion or unpleasantness you experienced during your stay. I am sorry that your hotel room key required recoding. However, I am glad that the front desk staff was able to promptly rectify the situation. Hotel key cards are designed for reuse; whenever a key is issued the magnetic strip is encoded for a particular door for only the duration of the guest’s stay. Consequently, the magnetic strip can easily be deactivated if placed near other magnetic items such as credit and debit cards, cell phones, and laptops.
As you may have observed during your stay, western Pennsylvania is experiencing a dearth of hotel rooms. It is typical for the entire area to have no vacancies during the business week. Therefore, hotels have implemented numerous policies and procedures to handle the influx of business and volume of sellouts. I apologize for the confusion regarding your belongings. Once an individual has checked out of their room at the front desk but housekeeping still finds belongings in the guest room, the hotel policy is to remove the belongings and store them in one of our office areas. A clean laundry or plastic bag is used for ease of transport. Your belongings were all accounted for. Specific items of value, like your Kindle, were placed in a secure location. I am sorry that you found the reversal of room charges an insufficient offset to your inconvenience.
Once again, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay. I am sorry that your confusion and frustration over duration of your stay and hotel policies negatively affected the perception you had of the rest of our property. I wish you the best of luck in future travel endeavors.

We used the Meadows Casino coupon while staying at the hotel and our experience was excellent! We opened the door to our room and saw this modern suite that was wonderful.
Our room included a mini fridge, microwave, full length mirror, flat screen on the wall TV and a separate seating area area. The bed linens were very nice and the wall that separated the two rooms made it very unique. The breakfast buffet was great, which included a hot items, along with an omelet station and helpful and friendly service!
We had a bad experience at one of the near by hotels and will never stay there again, so I'm glad we found our new home while staying in Washington! « less
