I have stayed at another Ramada in the past and did not enjoy that stay, so I was surprised with how nice and comfortable this hotel ended up being. I stayed here during a girls' weekend and shared a suite with a friend. Our room was clean, updated and a decent size. I stayed here in early June and so the outdoor pool was still closed, however I enjoyed the indoor pool (though it certainly was not fancy), having it all to myself during the day. The only downside being the windows on one side of the pool face a lobby area, so I felt a bit on display swimming next to travellers coming to check-in. The pool was also difficult to locate at first, being across an enclosed catwalk from where our room was located, however a staff member was happy to assist me in finding it. While this hotel is not near the falls, there is great outlet shopping directly across the street, and a quick cab ride got us all to falls and the downtown area. Even after factoring in the expense of the cab, it was still much cheaper to stay here than closer to the falls. For the price of the suite I felt this hotel offered good value and I would stay here again. « less

Not happy with the stay. My daughter was in a dance competition with a large group. when we arrived we had been bumped from our room away from the rest of the team. we had booked in January to ensure we would all be together.called 2 days before to confirm and desk said all good. Front desk not co-operative. $12.00/night for parking? What a joke!! « less

When booking we were told that there was a $10 parking fee but when booking we thought the reason must be that it was near the falls. It is 4mi. from the Falls, not at all within walking distance of the falls/attractions. No one would park here unless they are staying, so why are we charged? Also there are many doors but it is difficult to find entry as they are locked. The bed was hard and the pillows too high and firm, causing stiff neck the next morning. When I got up in the morning with that stiff neck and went into the bathroom, I was met with many small ants running all over the floor. So many problems here that I would not recommend this as a good place to stay while visiting this beautiful area. « less

The hotel was clean, updated, the room was good, the rates were excellent. The frustration i had was that the information in the room in the booklet describing services was outdated. It indicated longer pool hours and it was closed 15 minutes earlier than what the front desk told me, gym available 24 hours - it clesed at 11 and opened at 7;30, the TV channel page it think was incorrect. The gym equipment was not in good shape ( eg spin bike broken otehr bike broken). When I called the front desk to complain about a hallway party at 1:30 in the morning, I was left with the impression i was inconveniencing the desk person - and I don't know if he actually came up. So I didn't call again at 3 and 4 am when it started again. in addition it was not clear to me from the web nor my confirmation,or from when I called the 2 time to reserve and then update my reservation that there was a $12 parking charge When I commented at the front desk they simply said "its on the website". I have looked and I don't see that and considering I did not book on -line that seems to be a stupid answer. The road noise from the QEW kept us awake « less
