this hotel is very run down and in need of a lot of repair. rooms are stinky and had to buy air fresheners so we could sleep and the toilet keeps plugging and not because we had big poops. the rooms are very small. smaller than most peoples bedrooms at home. with that said the location was outstanding . we could not have got closer to the beach without sleeping on a lawn chair outside the room. we were in the best room ,closest to the beach #103. you can snorkel with fish and turtles and even manta rays right outside the hotel. no need to go anywhere else. beautiful beach. there are two restaurants on either side of hotel but quite expensive. you will need to rent a vehicle to go somewhere a little more affordable. we had a great time in maui and hope to go back one day. hopefully the hotel has spent a little money to fix the place up by then! « less

This place was a big disappointment. The hotel, and I will use the term lightly, was not clean, not put together well, and seemed to be straight out of the 70s or 80s with no effort to update or upgrade it since then. The hotel office is also very difficult to find. I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone I know. « less

We found this be accident while trying to book a private condo rental. This was WAY cheaper and right on the beach! Also, they advertise that they are the only hotel on Maui with all Temperpedic beds. Very comfortable. The convenience store at the resort next door is very reasonable, and shopping is within walking distance, although not real close (about a mile). « less

I checked in at 4.00 p.m. on 5/28 /2013 and I was rudely told the room is not ready, for a reservation I made 2/27/2013. So we drove around and came back at 5.30 p.m. This time the Receptionist stunned me. He said there is only one room left and not sure if it is in proper condition. A few minutes later, he said the room is ready - (119). We try to sleep around 9.30 p.m. ...Guests from the restaurant behind the Days Inn, talking very loud and walking along our room to the adjacent parking lot next to Days Inn. Then around 2.00 am. the Guest upstairs walking heavily, up and down none stop .We had to get up at 3.00 a.m. to go to Halekala National Park. A very bad place to rest. There is nothing I can say that's best for me. From check-in to check-out, it was a bad experience. « less
