Very clean, nice hotel. They are renovating now so there is a bit of dust but will be beautiful in a few months. Pool area very bright and nice. Still the best part is the staff. I don't think I have ever stayed anywhere where the staff treated you as if they have known you all your life. They have a star program that you can nominate outstanding performers and there is no way to choose just one. « less

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years when visiting family in Fremont. We stayed there the first year the building was built and have been there at least once a year since. The one consistant thread is they have great staff. We always request a room on the top floor, facing the back of the hotel, away from the elevator. And, I think we have always gotten what we requested. Front desk and breakfast staff are great - friendly and helpful. Free WiFi is a definitely plus! The breakfast buffet is standard for a Holiday Inn Express - but it is always clean and has plenty of choices so there is something for everyone.
Now, the negative...this hotel is showing it's age. The common areas aren't bad. However, my room this time had water stains on the ceiling, cracked tile and grout in the bathroom, and paint in need of a touch up. The rooms are not dirty - just he opposite. However, they just look tired. The hotel needs to spend some money and update the rooms.
We'll be back, as this is still the best that Fremont has to offer. I think a facelift is in order for this property. « less

If you are planning a return trip towards the end of May, we're planning to be completely re-modeled at that time. After driving all day we found another good hotel. Rooms were neat, clean, bright. Front desk went out of their way. Around 9pm heard heavy pacing above us. Called the front desk who called the room above us. Pacing Did Not Stop. Called the front desk, THEY helped us move our belongings to a top floor room. How nice is THAT ? Had a good breakfast in the AM and good feelings about this hotel. « less

My wife and I stayed for two nights in the end of August, 2012. Chack-in was quick and easy. The room assigned was near the elavator as requested (mobility issues). The evening clerk who checked us in was wonderful - VERY pleasant and helpful. The room was standard for a Holiday Inn Express. It was exceptionally clean. the beds were very comfortable. The flat-screen TV was a good size and the cable worked well. The refrigerator was clean and cold. The Wifi was good though at times sporadic. The free breakfast was quite nice and was well done. All-in-all I would recommend this hotel to my friends. « less

What a nice surprise! We planned a last minute trip to Omaha for the weekend and everything in the city was booked up. This was the closest hotel we could find. Fremont is actually a very easy drive from Omaha and close to everything on the west-side. Breakfast was great, the rooms were quiet, beds were comfortable, the kids loved the pool area. (our kids are 1, 3, and 7) It is designed with younger kids in mind. It is a bit loud in the pool area when all the water features are running. The staff was some of the friendliest i've ever seen at a hotel. They were great with our kids. We'll be back. « less
