My husband and I stayed only 1 night. We have never been there before. The room was large and very clean. We loved the bathroom with the extra large vanity. There was plenty of room for both of us to spread out our personal amenities. There is an indoor heated swimming pool that was nice. The gym was next door to our room, but no one was using it. In the morning, Sandra was very pleasant and also let a guest know that the gym was not going to open until the guests were up ( meaning us). We really appreciated it. The complimentary breakfast was good. My only suggestion is for a larger space. It is small, and if you do not get there early, you will have to wait for a seat. Great value for the $$. Especially if you cannot afford the price tags to stay at the casinos( approx. $300 + a night). This hotel is 10 minutes exactly to Atlantic City. RT 30 takes you right to all the casino's. There are many signs that direct you to the casino of choice. There are also many local restaurants along the way that are reasonable if you want to catch dinner before a show etc. We both agree that we would definitely stay here again. « less

Special thanks to Sandra and Melissa :) Only had one problem with a domestic situation next door on the Saturday night and was handled professionaly and quickly by the night manager! Would highly recommend it and would stay there again!
Also quick drive down to Atlantic City and boardwalk! Loved it! « less

I realize I could have probably given this hotel a very good considering how good the staff is, simply as nice and helpful as any 5 star hotels I have visited. This time, a dance competition in NJ with the family brought us to the Clarion. The facility is clean and well kept, nothing fancy. It was convenient, rooms are comfortable and large. As some have already mentioned, it is a bit loud from people in the hallways, AC units, adjacent bathroom showers and toilet, etc.... All in all, a good place to stay! « less

This hotel is just what we expected for a quick stay and a low price. The hotel is in good shape, clean but nothing fancy. I found it a bit noisy with people milling around in the halls and hearing lots of footsteps in the room above us. AC was a bit erratic as well - I had to put it down to 61 to get the air to come on, then it just shut off in the middle of the night and never came back on even though I was sweating in the room.
Manager and staff were very nice welcoming us every time we entered the hotel. I think the manager works 24/7 as she was there morning and night.
Continental breakfast was as expected - assortment of danish, breads, muffins, cereal, and fruit.
All in all, a good place to lay your head and sleep. « less
