Had a room with a great Bay view, great service and a short walk to Ferry Building, Chinatown and North Beach. Room was clean and well appointed. Only complaint is lack of vending machines for something to drink late at night (just ice machine).

Le Meridien is located in the heart of San Francisco's financial district. The location is excellent if you are doing business in the area. It is close to Embarcardero and the waterfront, Union Square, and many other great San Francisco spots. The hotel is a little above average. Their attempt at a contemporary look has been done better. The rooms are nice, though nothing special. The staff is fine, but not exceptional. For the price, your stay will be ok. But I think you could find better. « less

Rooms small as expected in San Francisco. Having lived in SF for 10 years, I know this is a Central location, albeit a business hotel. Walking distance to Embarcadero Center and nice restaurants. Union Square is still walkable. Overall, a Very average hotel. « less
