We were very impressed with this hotel. The staff was very welcoming as we arrived very tired from a long drive. The rooms were clean and a nice size. We were disappointed that the breakfast area was not open by the time that we were told it would be. We had to get to our business meeting and did not get to sit and enjoy breakfast prior to leaving. Overall, a great hotel and we will definitely stay here again! « less

I just wanted to get a quick hotel for the weekend and nothing fancy, but I still wanted to at least stay in a Marriott. I did research online and came across this room at an excellent price so i booked it, but i wasnt expecting much. When i got there i was greeted by friendly staff and walked into a neat little room with wifi connectivity and a balcony with sliding doors. My whole stay there was nice and comfotable, and i will definetly book there again if i want something else quick and cheap. « less

My wife and I stayed there one night for vacation, having lived in the Dallas area we knew the property. As with almost all Marriott's the people are always the forte of the chain. This one is located convenient to I75 and I 635, without the usual highway noise. Close to several restaurants and shopping at North Park. Our room was on the third floor and except for the late night party next door (which the manager quashed with our phone call) very quiet. We only paid $59 which was a real bargain. The morning buffet was also on sle for $7.95 and was very well worth it. The lady running the restaurant was exceptionally nice. The property was a little worn but all in all it was a great bargain. We would definately stay there again. « less

This would have been a five star review except for one little issue that I'll cover, but I was really pleased overall. I choose this hotel for it's easy access from the main road and the ability to park my huge moving truck towing my car behind the property.
Check in was top notch, I worked with a gentleman who's name I can not remember but he seemed to be pulling double duty as the chef in the bistro the next morning and as a check in agent. He really seemed to care and was efficient and yet friendly and genuine.
The room was bigger than an average room, with a sleeper sofa and a balcony. I think my room had a microwave and a fridge as well which were nice perks. Comfortable bed. WiFi was not blazing fast but more than adequate.
The hotel lost one star from me as I was told the bistro was open till 10:00 to serve breakfast and when I made it down around 9:40 it was closed. Not the end of the world, but it is pretty annoying on a trip like mine. Typically I could just stop by a breakfast place but with a huge moving truck etc I was really unable to drive around looking for breakfast. « less

We stayed here for the night after our daughter's state swim meet ran late. There was no breakfast so that was a negative but it was in a safe area (mainly surrounded by offices which were vacant over the three day weekend). It was in what appeared to be a very upscale area. There were not restaurants directly nearby so that was another negative but this hotel did have complimentary wi-fi throughout, coffee/hot tea in lobby with computers for public use, a nice small balcony off the room, a foam topper on the mattress which made the mattress sleep-friendly, friendly staff, good sized room, hot tub, work out room, and the property overall was well maintained. There was not a refridgerator in the room (another negative for us) but there were ice machines and even though we had the room directly next to it we never heard it. I would definitely recommend this hotel for just a night's stay. A very quiet property. We were on the third floor and the small balcony had a screen door along with the heavier door and a special safety lock for the sliding door. It allowed us to open the heavy door but leave the screen open to get some fresh air. « less
