This was our first visit to the Westport area as we usually stay in the city and commute in for business. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well run. The staff were very pleasant. The breakfast which was included was quite good. We dined in the on site restaurant "Artisan" which was truly excellent. There is also a good spot across the street called "Gray Goose" which I would have loved to try. The only negative comments I have are: the bathroom had only one sink, which was unusual in comparison to the size of the room, and there was a fair amount of noise from the parkway right outside of our window. I would definitely go back, but would request an odd numbered room on the second floor. « less

This is our second stay at the Delamar. We normally don't choose a "business" hotel for our accommodation but this one is a bit special ---- very clean and well run. The rooms offer upgraded amenities, including expensive robes my wife and I appreciate. It's not a big hotel so the noise levels are well managed, both inside and out. They separate the lobby from the rooms with a steel door which they close after 10:00 p.m. There are also rooms which face the busy Post Road but they double glaze those rooms. We prefer a bit of fresh air and we have been fortunate to get rooms on the courtyard side in which we can open a window without experiencing much disruption.The hotel restaurant serves dinner outdoors in the courtyard in nice weather and sleep would be an issue before about 11:00 p.m. but that is acceptable to us.
Staff are very attentive and friendly. Free parking underground is offered, as is a decent buffet. breakfast in the morning. It's a little expensive but ultimately worth it if you need a bit of respite from the hustle around you in this part of the world. « less

My husband and I stayed here for two days for our wedding anniversary. Be it our anniversary falls in Feb., the snow in CT was in full effect as it was the weekend of the blizzard "Nemo". Despite the weather, our accommodations were great. We stayed in one if the suites with the fireplace and it was phenomenal. The room was clean and spacious. The various staff at the hotel were helpful and kind. We manage to eat at the Restaurant within the hotel and it was great. I was thoroughly impressed as despite the storm, the restaurant food and staff were great. I would recommend this hotel to those visiting the area. « less

Another hotel aimed at covering the wedding venue or conference market! I would prefer this to be less rooms and more a boutique hotel... When the view from your room is either the car park or the highway... It means the guest staying over guest does not have the biggest priority!!!! « less
