Our group of 21 students and 5 adult chaperones stayed at this hotel for two nights this week while visiting the Chicago area. It is quite a distance from all of the downtown attractions, but it had the best "setup" for student groups that I have seen. We were able to keep all of our students in adjacent space and away from other guests (good for them, good for us.) A hotel security guard was present through the night. There is wide open space adjacent to the rooms where the students could play volleyball or basketball and be within chaperones' eyesight at all times. Best of all, the breakfast buffet setup for our group was completely private and we did not have to worry about our student disturbing other diners. In fourteen years of this kind of travel I a haven't seen such a good setup. While I wish it were closer to the city, it was a tremendous relief when we returned at night and woke in the morning to have this setup. « less

My husband and I recently stayed overnight for an early morning flight from O 'Hare. The rooms were impeccable, staff was very friendly and efficient. Harry Carey's Restaurant is located on the property. Excellent Food! We were flying Internationally and our flight was leaving at 6:00 am. The Hotel shuttle departed every half-hour. The driver was very friendly and prompt. We parked our 2013 vehicle in the Hotel parking garage which was very secure. When we returned from our trip, we received the same prompt service from the shuttle driver. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Will stay again! « less

This hotel was much better than I expected. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very nice. The room itself was large, clean and had a refrigerator, small freezer and a mircowave! My only complaint was the fitness center. The equipment was pretty out-dated and didn't run smooth at all. Elliptical, treadmill, bike and free weights. That was a little disappointing, otherwise I would recommend this hotel. Keep in my, families with kids - the pool is outdoors only! « less
