We had been traveling all day and wanted somewhere to spend the night that was easy on the pocket book, but clean and nice. We looked in the book of discounted hotels you can get in some gas stations, visitor centers , etc. the first one we tried was in a really bad neighborhood, so we figured Briley Parkway would be better, and went to the Guest House Inn that was advertised for $59.00 a night.The price they quoted us was $89.00 so we asked if they honored the coupon in the book, and they said yes, It had all the amenities, microwave, refrigerator, WI-Fi hookup, large TV, and 2 gueen beds that were very comfortable, everything looked clean and well kept. table and 2 chairs. The breakfast was better than at most places, boiled eggs, waffles, apples and bananas, ( if you got there early enough ) a variety of juices, coffee, doughnuts, danish pastries, and muffins. Biscuits and a thin gravy. We were more than pleased with our stay, even though with the taxes added, it came to about $70.00, but a lot better than what it would have been with the taxes on $89.00 would have been. « less

Compared to the costs of staying in downtown Nashville, this wasn't too bad. We were able to park underground out of the rain. The rooms were nothing fancy, towels were scratchy. Free breakfast, which wasn't great, but FREE! The front desk was very helpful with letting us know about the transportation service to take us downtown. « less

A/C unit quiet and newer. Sink in alcove, toilet and tub in separate room (tiny)...Towels VERY thin and cheap feeling. Continental breakfast was adequate. Close to Opryland/Grand Ole Opry...walkable. Driving or using the hotel's shuttle van (every hour on the bottom half of the hour) is recommended. Friendly front desk staff. Plenty of eateries with live entertainment within walking distance. Short drive to The Hermitage and the Airport. Would i stay there againg when visiting Opryland? Sure. « less
