The lobby and fitness center are clearly recently remodeled. The location is amazing, but the rooms were a little dated. Nothing that a remodel won't fix, but for a Hilton I was slightly disappointed in the rooms. Having said that, simply step out the back of the resort and your're basically standing in sand on the beach. I'd stay there again. « less

We stayed for five nights last week, and had a great time! Zero complaints whatsoever about this hotel. We had an oceanfront room, and it was a fantastic stay. The hotel staff was wonderful. Very friendly, and attentive. Food was wonderful, a little expensive, but hey, we're on vacation, right? Valet parking was very worth the price just for convenience, and the valet staff was fabulous. I've read other negative reviews of this hotel, and either those folks were the type who complain about EVERYTHING all the time, or they were hotel competitors trying to steal business. We couldn't figure out what the complaints were all about, becasue we had no issues. The room was plenty big enough, very clean, and the view was fantastic. We were in front of the ferris wheel / sling shot and it was fun to watch. Not noisy in the room at all. Thank you Hilton for a fantastic week at the beach. (Even the weather was perfect!!!) « less

We stayed for one night on the last leg of our Disney trip. Upon arrival we were cheerfully greeted by a very nice valet and bell hop who not only took our car and luggage, but took the time to explain a lot about the hotel. Upon walking in the hotel we were greeted and a free sand bucket and shovel given to our young son. The front desk staff were also great and very efficient. They even called the room ten minutes after our arrival to make sure everything was up to our standards. Room was #1012 and was a double. Extremely clean and nice with a fantastic view of the beautiful beach. Flat screen tv and dual sinks bathroom. Hallways and common areas were also very clean and no bugs were noticed. The property has several nice pools and hot tubs and a beautiful section of vehicle free beach. A lot of shopping, bars, and restaurants nearby. Joes Crab Shack, bubba gumps, dunkin donuts, burger king, dominos pizza, etc.. including several restaurants and bars. The area is not seedy and is way better than I ever expected . They do charge for parking but that is fairly common practice at beach hotels with limited parking due to outsiders trying to park there. All in all I would love to stay here again and would highly recommend it!! « less

Upon arrival we chose self park. We had to leave to pick a few things up and was charged for leaving. We spoke to management and he upgraded us to valet for the inconvenience only for me to realize that they charged us for valet and self parking. Then we were charged for a restaurant that we did not use. The bathtub would not drain when I was in the shower. We were not given the discount card upon arrival so we missed out on the discounts and free appetizers the first day. The food is overpriced! « less

First, I booked my stay thru Priceline.com and got an incredible value. We had a non smoking king oceanfront room on the 7th floor. Very clean. A lot of amenities on site, beach access, pool, fitness center, spa, coffee shop several restaurants and bars indoor and out. They have wifi access and computers with printers. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Be sure to speak with them! They offer free beach/pool towels you just have to sign them in and out. They are a little small so you may want 2. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented right outside for 30,00 for the day. The pool side area is a little cramped. It does get busy on the weekends, you may want to ask if they have any major events before booking if you don't like crowded hotels. The only major drawback is parking. Any parking for the Hilton has a fee. 19 per day to valet which is a parking garage in the hotel or 12 per day to self park across the street. Valet does get very busy on the weekends and it gets crowded. The resort also offers bike, surf board rentals etc. « less
