I found this to be a pretty standard Comfort Inn, a bit overpriced for the value you get, but certainly acceptable. The location is very convenient to I-77, Carowinds and the CLT airport. The entire property and especially the rooms felt a bit old and a little run down, as if the properties better days were in the past. They were remodeling and painting a section of the property when I was there so improvements may be in its future. The rooms were standard for the price range and brand, though I was a bit surprised to see some stains on the carpet and (cigarette?) burns on the bed spread. The staff seemed a bit slow (at check-in at least) but personable. Overall you could do a lot worse in the area, though admittedly you could probably do better as well. « less

Don't wast your money on this dump of a hotel. The first thing this hotel is in need of a lot of repair. It is very dated and there is damaged to the walls in the room. The front desk girl needs to be fired for being rude. Her name is Aftan. I don't know how you can run a motel like this under the name of Comfort Inn. I have stayed at a lot of Comfort Inn but this is by far one of the worst I have stayed at. I will be calling the corporate office about your hotel. The room is only so so clean with a big stain on the sheet and hairs in the bathtub. I will not be back please go stay in pineville there is a lot better comfort suites there. « less

We arrived to find lobby clean and nice staff. Got to room and floor was wet from roof leak (we hope) next to bathroom wall next to bed. We booked online and got Carowind tickets. Process was easy. Upon check out the bill was much much higher that we booked for. Was suppose to be $284 they charged $458. When desk was asked they said it was a Choice hotel problem and if they sold room for what we agreed to pay they would loose money. WTH? We could have stayed at a much nicer motel for what they charged. We will never return to this dump.. Wow these people are con artist... Praying on families just trying to have a nice vacation. Choice problem or not Choice owns this hotel. « less
