We appreciated: 1. Convenient location & easy to find. Close for airport shuttle service, but away from the flight path so no concerning noise from overhead planes. Short walking distance to an outlet mall & restaurants across a fairly quiet side street. Near gas stations & grocery store. 2. Sense of safe surrounding community & facility. Outside property & parking lot had good visibility & was well-lit. Patio had an iron fence with gated entry, and side door entrances to hotel for guests were locked (accessed via room key-card). 3. Friendly, knowledgeable & well-trained staff. They smiled & provided good service and paid attention to their work. 4. The hotel was attractive, clean, well maintained & quiet! From the parking lot, to the front desk & lobby, the breakfast area, pool, stairs, patio & guestrooms, everything was nice, clean and well cared for. And even though it appeared that there were a fair number of people staying there (number of cars in parking lot, seeing people check in, etc), it didn't seem crowded or noisy. We never heard anything from neighboring rooms to the side or overhead. 5. Awesome complimentary breakfast! Good variety of options. Enjoyed the Belgian waffles and biscuits & gravy. :) 6. Room was attractive, quiet & pleasant. Beds were comfortable. Appreciate the coffee maker, iron/ironing board & blow dryer in-room, and love that it also had a microwave & mini-fridge. Lighting in the bathroom was WONDERFUL (a lot of hotels have horrible bathroom lighting). Everything in the room worked well, no issues. 7. Our kids (17 & 12) loved the pool. I read another review that said it was small; it wasn't an issue for us and wasn't crowded the several times we used it. Towels were available near the pool. We also used the patio a number of times. It was a convenient, pleasant area to relax outside when we were back at the hotel. Overall, a great stay that we really enjoyed! « less

Finally a better new hotel on our USA national parks trip after many old motels and hotels. It's a new hotel, which I like, outside Las Vegas downtown, you will need a car. (Note: Across the street is Las Vegas South Outlet shopping center, prices are better then in the north outlet). New furniture, flat lcd, big enough rooms with new design. Free wifi, fitness (but small and poor), small pool, good breakfast (comparing to other average hotels). It's typical traveller/business hotel, I give 3,5 stars for hotel itself and 4 stars for good impression of staying there. Breakfast was simple, offered more options than other motels/hotels, but good: soup, orange/apple juice, fresh baked pancakes, eggs, hamburger meat, bakery, bread, fruits,... I really can recommend it. What I would improve. Small fitness had no weight equipment, just 3 running and stepper machines. I would add at least weight equipment. The pool was inside, it was small, I missed shower there. And I would add sauna or whirpool to the pool room and it would be perfect. « less
