We love the location of the hotel, as it is in walking distance of Universal Studios. The property needs some work! We have stayed here several times over the last 4 months and each room we have been in had a broken shower rod, etc. This time our room had tile, and we hated it! I would have taken my slippers if I had known. The trip included a single mom and my son and we were put at the back of the property....needless to say, I didn't feel very secure.... « less

We were very happy about the location; we had a full weekend planed at Universal and Islands of Adventure. The outward appearance of the hotel was good but the inside left a lot to desire. Once in we were very happy that the floors are tile but the rooms themselves had a very rundown and unmaintained look to them. The bathroom was very bad the shower curtain rod looked like it was just thrown up as a last ditch effort. The tub it’s self was flaking like it had been painted instead of fixed. The TV would not come on until the third or fourth time that I hit the button. And it would not come on using the remote control. The channels would change with the remote but not the volume. Everything around the room appeared dirty and unclean. « less
