I stayed here for three days on business. The hotel is nice, great location and everything I would expect. What I missed was any staff members going above and beyond. The staff did everything that they should, but without any type of personality. The only staff member even engaged in a conversation with me was one of the men who was working the brunch line in the restaurant. I know it seems silly but when you are paying for a nice hotel, I think that the service should at least match the property, if not more so. « less

I stayed in Hilton Portland for 5 nights at a conference. In general, nothing much to complain about except the size of the room - veeery small, tiny bathroom with basically no door (a sliding glass "door" with no door nob or a lock) and a leaky faucet. The room was very run down, with old, teared furniture and dirty carpet. The hotel is in a desperate need for renovation if they want to live to the Hilton standard.
Service was good though, and the conference was well managed, however the food serving should be a bit better organized (e.g. putting out more tables).
The advantage of this hotel is very good location, close to may restaurants and shops, very nice area. « less

I stayed at the Executive Tower last week for three nights for work. The hotel itself is nice, very comparable to most Hilton properties. Even with the discount offered my employer I felt the room charge was a little high. Especially if you include the $27 a night to park my car in the garage. If you don't mind walking a block I did notice a garage around the corner that only charged $10 a night. Three night stay at just under $600 with parking is just a little too high for this place. « less

We had a great experience upon arrival. Having two separate registrations, at separate buildings, for our 4 day stay. Had twin beds and asked for a king which they provided. Then the hotel kept us in the same room throughout our stay. Very accommodating. « less
