Rooms are clean. Only the necessities as would befit an economy hotel.
Free breakfast is very limited. Again Econo Lodge says it all for the reasonable prices.

There aren't many options in town and this one is 2nd best with 1/2 the price. I was there on a Fri. and Sat. night and only a few rooms were booked. It was very quiet even though next to a highway. The actual location is an unusual one to get to, although plentiful signs. Service was good, place clean. Average comfort. It was very cold weather and the room and lobby were warm but the hallways were ice cold. « less

Fairly clean room in a hotel which is obviously on a very low budget. The hotel, although facing the freeway which is separated by a chain link fence,is reached by travelling down a narrow, country type road and entering another dark (at night) dead end street housing only this hotel and nothing else but trees and grassy areas overgrown with weeds. One first sees the back of the hotel which resembles a deserted brick office building. The lobby is vintage and the breakfast nook is TINY. To reach the upstairs rooms one must climb a narrow, steep stair case which necessitates dragging one's suitcase stair by stair behind. The furniture is well worn, the box spring frayed, the mattress simple but somewhat newer, the small bathroom sink cracked and chipped, a newer fiberglass tub/shower surround and an ancient TV which gets absolutely no reception. All at a high price considering what very little one receives in return. « less

Today is the first time we've read any reviews for this place , although we've been staying there regularly for the past 3 years . The purpose of our trips are mainly to visit family , as we are originally from Fort Erie.Yes, the place does need a facelift , but the staff are very nice , from management to the housekeeping staff. Our room is always clean and well stocked , and if we need any extras , they are always provided with a smile !!! Thw location is woodsy , so if you're a bird / nature lover , then this place is for you . It is also very close to stores ; some you can walk to . As for the breakfast , we do not partake , as we prefer Tim Hortons or Mc Donalds which are also close to the motel . Overall, our stays are enjoyable ! « less
