Great room for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Given that it is near the airport I was surprised how quiet it was.

Overall we liked our 2-day stay at Ramada Suites because it is close to airport for our early morning flight, and also for its very reasonable rate. We had some minor problems such as broken refrigerator, loose bath room faucet, low water flow at the sink. I'd rather pay a little extra for all that. However, the friendliness and great service of the manager and stuff made up for most of it. « less

Stayed 5 nights here (april 2013), I'll start with the cons as it is those that stick in my mind the most. when we first checked in we were given a room of 3rd floor, the room was really shabby, dark, dated & the view was terrible (as car parks go). the room was directly above the entrance and all you could see are some aircons & the roof, the room was very dim this has a lot to do with the decor,there was paper not stuck to the wall, the shower head was clogged and loose on the wall,there was a lot of stains on different parts of the walls, the only electric socket near the beds is actually behind the head of one of the beds and it was loose hanging, door frame in bathroom rusty,air con very close to the bed, as first impressions go, it was not very good. Needless to say, we asked for another room and we were given one on the top floor. The breakfast was very basic and pretty poor, the OJ was very watery, the scrambled eggs were never hot, the plates are polystyrene & very thin, the cutlery is plastic.
So, too the pros, when we asked for another room, there was no hesitation in changing, without even asking why.we could see the whole car park now, not really a bad view considering it was a car park as you could also see other hotels and nice lake. this room was a lot tidier all round compared to the 3rd floor one, it felt brighter though the decor was the same in both, this one was cleaner. The beds were probably the most comfortable we have ever slept in, if everything else in this hotel was of the same standard as the bed, people would forever return. breakfast' only saving grace was the make yourself waffles. Finally and most importantly to some people, the price of the stay was very good, though i dont know the exact room price as I booked them together. €534 pp DUB-ATL-MCO & back, less than 2hr wait over either way,flying Delta & 5 nights hotel.
so based on my experience i would rate the hotel average, let down badly by the breakfast & cutlery/plates. « less
