Arrived at this hotel with staff looking shaggy at reception area. Pleasant but in need of improved appearance. Located room and found that front door could only be shut if slammed it. Also had at least 1" space under door facing parking lot. The safety lock had been removed from door. Room had been recently painted which looked good although hole had been drilled in wall base and no cleanup had been done. New shower curtain in bath and shower had good water flow. Beds were hard as ROCKS..like sleeping on the ground. Easy in/out of parking lot. Ice machines worked first day but second day not working. Breakfast was very spare but coffee was good. Parking lot was VERY dark. « less

Our refrigerator was not in the room when we arrived so we called front desk and John brought us one, so we went out for dinner and when we returned it was not getting cold so we called front desk again and John brought another one and it worked great..Just like that we got great service..Will definitely stay again!! Yes. This place is remodeling. What a process this is! Too bad the lobby was not the first step in their project. The lobby is the first impression of the place. A computer that the guest can use is a must.
Why aren't they completing one room and moving to the next? What they are doing is not working. It's obvious that the work is being done by the people the offered the cheapest bid. What's up with the masking tape everywhere? There were blue doors, red doors, and silver doors? Why?
Housekeeping staff were wonderful! Can't complain about clean towels and beds made daily.
Breakfast can improve with some protein and a working toaster.
Great shower! Loved the massage showerhead.
Swimming pool was fantastic. It was brand new. . .loved everything about it. My boy wanted to stay there all night long! « less

We all understand about the remodeling, but the way the establishment was going about it could have been better. For example, some door exteriors were painted, some not. Witnessing masking tape left on the stairs, doors, windows, days after the paint had dried looked shoddy. It would have been nice to have the front lobby completed since it is the FIRST impression you have of the place. The new fish tank looked so lonely. . . I couldn't help thinking, "Why not do one room at a time, and make it NICE, then move to the next one."
The staff was great. Anytime I needed help, they were right there to help. I will never be so thankful that I was allowed to use their computer/internet/printer to buy tickets in advance to the Natural Bridge Caverns. If we were unable, we would not have been able to go on one of the adventures there!
Breakfast could have been improved with maybe some hard boiled eggs. It was lacking protein. Also, the toaster was broken.However, the front desk was very attentive.
Best housekeepers around. I loved my lady. She was so kind and left us with plently of clean towels and made our beds daily.
One thing that would have been nice was an accurate tv guide.
The pool was fantastic. It was like brand new. New signs were needed with hours and rules--but my son had a blast in the sparkling water. « less
